Thread forming screws for plastic materials

BM Boulonnerie manufactures screws for plastic materials ; it is also called thread forming screw or self-tapping screw. This type of screw for plastic is very specific. The shape of the thread at 30° is special, to penetrate the plastic, for pullout resistance and to maintain the tightening torque.

The thread forming screw is generally made of steel class 10.9 to handle the high mechanical stresses, but also in stainless steel for specific applications in corrosive environments.
